S.W.A.C. Application Browser Help

If you have been experiencing problems entering your online applications (an error message stating that your Control ID Number is invalid), please follow the instructions below to ensure that your browser is handling the application pages correctly.

If you are currently not using Internet Explorer 7, we strongly recommend that you upgrade your browser here.
 
 
STEP 1. - Click on the "Tools" menu in the top right-hand corner of your browser menu. Select "Internet Options" from the dropdown menu.    

STEP 2. - Select the "Security" tab at the top of the pop-window that is displayed. Then, click on the "Trusted Sites" icon. Once you have clicked on this icon, a button called "Sites" will appear underneath. Click this button.    

STEP 3. - A new pop-up window will open. You will see a textbox titled "Add this website to the zone:". In this textbox, type "https://www.secureworker.com" (do not put the quotes around it). Please make sure you type HTTPS and not HTTP in front of the URL. Once you have entered this text, click the "Add" button to the right of the textbox.    

STEP 4. - After you have clicked the "Add" button, the site URL will appear in the "Websites:" box below. Click the "Close" button at the bottom of the window to exit this screen.    

STEP 5. - Next, click on the "Privacy" tab at the top of the Internet Options pop-up window. You will see a button called "Sites". Click this button.    

STEP 6. - A new pop-up window will open. You will see a textbox titled "Address of website:". In this textbox, type "www.secureworker.com" (do not put the quotes around it). Once you have typed in the domain name, click the "Allow" button to the right of the textbox.    

STEP 7. - After you have clicked the "Allow" button, the site URL will appear in the "Managed websites:" box below. You should see the words "Always Allow" in the "Setting" column of this box beside the domain www.secureworker.com. Once you verify that this is correct, click the "OK" button to close the window.    

STEP 8. - On the remaining pop-up window, click the "OK" button at the bottom to close the window and save all of your new settings.

Once you have completed these steps, PLEASE CLOSE ALL OF THE BROWSER WINDOWS YOU HAVE OPEN AND RESTART INTERNET EXPLORER. Once you have restarted your browser, go back to www.secureworker.com and try putting in your application.
